Kristi Freeman D.V.M.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Kristi was originally a horse vet but felt called to start San Diego’s first full-time exclusive end of life veterinary practice in 2003. In 2013, she founded Graceful Departure Pet Center, San Diego’s first brick and mortar end of life clinic which was also San Diego’s first eco-friendly animal cremation service. In June 2014, she became a Rock Community Chaplain as a way to bring additional resources to her grieving clients. Her favorite quote is by Jimmy Dugan from A League of Their Own, “It’s supposed to be hard. If it wasn’t hard, everyone would do it. The hard… is what makes it great.” When not working, she enjoys spending time with friends, line dancing and aerobics classes, relaxing at home, attending LifeSkills classes, and thinking outside the box as an entrepreneur. Dr. Kristi’s family includes two cats, Baxter and Bailey.
